I grew up on a farm in Central Illinois as the youngest of four. Because I have always enjoyed learning about the world we live in, I earned my biology degree from Southern Illinois University in 1998. Thereafter, I decided to pursue something different and chose to attend Northern Illinois University College of Law where I graduated with my Juris Doctorate in 2001.
I moved to Colorado after graduation because, after all, who doesn’t want to live in Colorado? Subsequently, I married my awesome wife, Laurie, in 2006. I have also been blessed with a daughter born in 2008, a son born in 2013, and another daughter born in 2015. They bring such joy to my life. They laugh out loud when they see something funny and they cry during a Disney movie even though they know it will have a happy ending. I wouldn’t trade that emotional roller coaster for anything.
Prior to starting Wagner Law Office, I had worked for various, other Denver area law firms and it was in 2005 that I began my work in bankruptcy. I eventually decided that I didn’t want to be the typical attorney. I wanted to truly be myself and run a law firm that my parents would be proud of and, in 2007, I ventured off and opened Wagner Law Office without many clients or prospects.
I approach every client who walks through my door with courtesy and openness you won’t likely find elsewhere. Every person calls my office for a different reason and I like to listen to that person’s unique circumstances. It does matter.
